This exhibit follows Benjamin Wilson's life and career through the lens of legacy and transformation. Born in Bloomington, Indiana before moving near the campus of Jackson State University, an HBCU in Jackson, Mississippi, Wilson went on to graduate from Wilbraham & Monson Academy in 1969, Dartmouth College in 1973, and Harvard Law in 1976. During his time at Dartmouth, Wilson served as Class Vice President while balancing commitments to the football team, track team, and various academic and pre-professional societies. 

Wilson entered Dartmouth at a pivotal point in American history — as the United States approached withdrawal from the Vietnam War, antiwar movements called for nonviolence, and the first female students began arriving on Dartmouth's campus. An exceptional student turned prestigious lawyer, Ben's interview follows how his transformative childhood in the Deep South inspired decades of service in the nation's capital and beyond.
