Welcome! This website presents digital exhibits curated by Dartmouth College students who took HIST 10.03, "The Dartmouth Vietnam Project: Learning Oral History in a Digital Age" in winter 2025. In this course students explored the history of the Vietnam War, using the theories and methods of oral history. 

Under the direction of Professors Edward Miller and Mara Gregory, each student conducted an oral history interview with a member of the Dartmouth community about their experiences during the Vietnam War era (1950-1975) and its aftermath.  The work we did was part of the Dartmouth Vietnam Project, an oral history project launched in 2014.

Our interviews (including transcripts) and the results of our research are presented in the following digital exhibits, which we designed and built with the expert support of Dartmouth librarians Laura Braunstein and Daniel Lin.
